Subject: Re: [sloan-25mlog 5402] 2.5m obslog 20210220 (SJD 59266) From: Katie Date: Sun, 21 Feb 2021 15:57:34 -0700 There was not a tcc axis stop before taking the semaphore. The command =E2=80=9Ctcc track 121,30 mount=E2=80=9D did not have a = rotator command in it, so the rotator did not move. There was a second = MCP command to move the rotator back to zero while the altitude was = moving to 5. Given the MCP overshoot, we were cautious about moving the telescope = back to 5 to move the enclosure to reseat the pin. > On Feb 21, 2021, at 8:38 AM, Kaike Pan wrote: >=20 >=20 >> - We had an MCP GoTo5 overshoot at 4:45Z while closing due to = weather. >=20 >> # In the process of closing, we had another slew overshoot while = going to 5. >> We ran go to gang change from field, then to stow using `tcc track = 121, 30 >> mount`, then aborted the rotator slew once alt was at 30deg, then we = took the >> semaphore as mcpop, then we slewed alt to 5, and in the process, = started a=20 >> rotator slew to 0 from wherever it was at when we aborted the stow = slew.
