BHM lost 5.8 hours, APOGEE-2 lost 5.5 hours. We mounted each cartridge with BHM, took a bias, collimated the spectrograph, then a set of calibration to check whether we need to adjust slithead positions of cartridge. All xMIDs on cartridges are within 6 pxiels, waveMid is with 15A. We may be fine without adjust the slithead positions. Based collected Xmid and waveMid information, we adjust Xmid by -4 pixels,Blue camera waveMid by +6 A. There is a bug in goto5 script: it tries to slew to 0 deg when there is no altitude destination (i.e. the destination field is left blank). Dylan fixed the bug. We worked on one more SDSS observer procedure on SDSS-V page. We put down absorption pads on floors of both lower and upper enclosures, ad left them there because it may rain again. Cartridge 3 has only 486 good fibers. Cartridge 8 and 9 have 492, 496 and 493 for cartridge 2 and 7. APOGEE morning cal would not started this morning. It output an error: "Controller not available". Fred left site around 3 before the rain started, and didn't lay any absorbent pads down. The rain hit after he left and by the time I went to the enclosure at 3:45, it was quite wet. I laid down lots of absorbent pads. The UPS for the APOGEE cal lamps was beeping and had two yellow lights. I was unfamiliar with the procedure, but when Kaike arrived, we restarted the UPS and it behaved normally. Many of the systems on the west and north racks in the lower enclosure had a small amount of water on them. There were lots of clouds nearby and ~50mph winds, although radar began to clear around sunset. Night: ====== Clouds and strong winds (up to 60 mph) whole night.
