APOGEE-2 lost 6hrs. Jose and John Donor assisted us with getting systems back up and running after Shane's server backups. The MCP remained unresponsive though. The weather improved the last half of the night, but we were unable to open due to the MCP. We believe this time should be charged to engineering (5.7 hrs). ---- Observing Log ---- AFTERNOON CHECKOUT PART TROIS: ============================= Short read darks were done earlier, but now we are checking connections to everything. Hub has been restarted at least three times. We made sure that the spectrograph cameras stayed cold when the software was down. 03:00Z - Thanks to Jose and John Donor - all systems/actors were brought back except the MCP. We attempted to reset the hardware, but with no luck. We cannot do BOSS cals tonight since cart 4 is on the telescope. 02:46Z Started APOGEE evening cals. APOGEE morning cals are in spec.
