A couple of issues found: 1. BOSS SP1: 1) Three quatrains (except for top-right quatrain) have zeros for all pixels on r1 bias, dark, flat. and arc. See files: 294115 - 31. 2) Flat and arc were taken, and STUI shows that shutters were opened, hartmann doors were out during integrations for both SP1 and SP2. However, there are no light on b1 and r1 files while b2 and r2 are normal. 2.Communication confusions between SOP and MCP: 1). "sop doBossCalibs nArc=1 arcTime=4.0" successfully turned on Arc lamps, but the command failed due to "Failed to turn Ne lamps on (bypass(lamp_ne) = False)". 2). "sop doBossCalibs nBias=1" failed with an error: "Failed to cleanup after BOSS calibs; check BOSS and FFS state." "Failed to turn HgCd lamps off (bypass(lamp_hgcd) = False)". 3). Hartmann file fits headers indicate all lamps are on, but "hartmann recompute" failed with errors, "r2: Only 0 of 4 Ne lamps turned on: 0 0 0 0". "r2 had error: Incorrect header values in fits file." 3.lamps control: 0) mcp commands, e,g. "mcp wht.on/off", can control all lamps correctly. 1) mcpMenu can control FF, HgCd, and Ne lamps correctly, but cannot control UV and White lamps. 2). STUI MCP GUI can turned on lamps from the off status. However, a button will be greyed out after it is pushed to turn the lamp until STUI is disconnected. 4. One of 4 FF lamps cannot be turned on. ---- Observing Log ---- Tested a couple of things: 1. Visual checked found that three quatrains of R1 have zeros for all pixels. 2) Flat: one out of 4 lamps doesn't turn on. It is the third one from the left in STUI MCP cartton.
