Notes to the developers and engineers: ====================================== 1. It would be nice if we can start a new sequence from a give grid point, e.g. 100th stars in the 155 pointing model grid. 2. BOSS kept trying to readout an exposure attempted earlier until a "boss clearExposure" is issued. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ========== Day crew completed works on B2 and altitude fiducial read head at about 6:30 PM. We checked systems and started ventilation at 1:10 UT, and plan to take fiducial data, then pointing model. Checkout went fine with knowing SP1 doesn't readout. 01:40Z: started ventilation, force a 2nd fill so that we don't need to fill before fiducial data taking and after open. Night: ====== 03:00Z While we wait for the driving surface to get thermal equilibrium for fiducial data, we clean all driving surfaces. 03:30Z: we saw that there are lots of dusts in ecamera flat images, we dismounted and cleaned filters, and mounted it back on. 04:30Z: Started collecting fiducial data, building the fiducial tables. During the data taking, Az went out of close-loop three times. The data collection script mis-identified a star, a big calib offset was carried over to later stars.
