Actuators E and F on M1 failed to home. After a lot of troublshooting help from Conor and John, we suspect that these actuators are not hitting their limits because the pneumatic things that release them from the mirror are not working. There was not enough air pressure to move them. More investigation is needed and is a task for tomorrow. Rotator fiducial tables will not build. We need the plotMcpFiducials code to be altered to accommodate 250 degrees instead of 360 degrees. See Kaike's email. We are having issues with connecting the LN2 line with the valve on the SP2 side. We have seen this problem creep up for the last 3 nights, so it is repeatable amongst many observers. About half way through the fill, LN2 spills out of the valve where the connection is, and definitely puts us in a debacle trying to crawl under the stream of LN2 in order to shut off the fill. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ---------- apogee short dars - ok tcc track 121,30 mount tcc set scale=1.0 tcc set focus=0.0 23:52Z APOGEE evening cals started. 00:52Z guider dark time=20 stack=9 - ok 00:52Z guider flat time=300 - ok 00:58Z opened doors, started ventilation. 01:12Z on the telescope all checked and ok Night: ------ We attempted to restart the mcp with version v7_0_4, but Jose found some files were not copied to the tagged directory during compilation. He fixed it. 02:42Z - Opened enclosure and started a fill. 03:09Z - Began to home and relax mirrors. However, when trying to home m1 with E,F, one more axes did not reach the reverse limit. We called Conor for help and left a message. We also called John at the exact moment we had a medical emergency on site with one of the visitors. 04:16Z - Conor called back.
