EBOSS lost 2.0h and APOGEE-2 9.8h. Notes to developers and engineers: --------------------------------- 1. M1 was off its position: During afternoon checked out, Mirror numbers for M1 are found to be off. Actuator A to F were at -4250, -4250, -4250, -90000, 0, and 0 while they should be 9400, -500, 7300,5850, 5650, 5750. JonB and I found that Actuators were moved a dozen times from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM today. Anyone ran tests on M1? 2. A rotator Oscillation was saw when moving the telescope from 121/70/0 to 121/30/0 via tcc track commands. However, one half dozen of later track commands (with and without rotator moving) didn't generate any rotator oscillation. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ========= BOSS collimation was checked with cartridge 4. Mirror numbers for M1 were way off. It looks like that someone commanded M1 galil to -4250, -4250, -4250, -90000, 0, and 0 while they should be 9400, -500, 7300,5850, 5650, 5750. A further investigation found that about one dozen galil moving commands were issued between 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM today.
