The evening ALT fiducial problem looks like it went away shortly after I =
left last night.  We also checked the ALT fiducials this afternoon while =
changing a cartridge for cleaning/inspection of a manga ferrule.
The ALT fiducial blocks show no signs of dirt/moth residue, and they all =
read well going up to zenith and back to stow, so I'm going to take a =
guess that the problem seen just after opening last night is =
attributable to ambient temperature variation while ventilating & after =
sunset.=
