We stopped ventilation at 3:20Z. At 7:15Z, the warm observer computer slowed down measurably, and Petunia showed an error along the lines of "Warning: unresponsive script" although there was nothing wrong with Petunia and no detectable slowdown on the cold observer computer. The kernel task in the Activity Monitor used 60-80% of the CPU, varying over approximately 10 minutes. We called Jon Brinkmann to see if there was anything to do to help speed the computer up. He recommended that we reboot the computer. As it is cloudy, with radar in the county, we aren't losing any time. After rebooting, the computer functioned normally.
