Boss collimation: 22:12:08 Hartmann collimate output on cart #16 sp1: offset: r=329 (In Focus); b=-4.4 (Out of focus) sp1: pred. move: spAverageMove= 871 sp1: pred. spResiduals: r=-542, b=-1.7, txt=OK, spTemp = 8.5 sp2: offset: r=4418 (Out of focus); b=-11.3 (Out of focus) sp2: pred. move: spAverageMove= 4005 sp2: pred. spResiduals: r=412, b=1.3, txt=OK, spTemp = 8.1 Median spectrographs temperatures: Tsp1= 8.6, Tsp2= 8.2; Outside air temperature= 3.2; Apogee evening calibrations - ok. I tried to get mirror numbers, but I got error. I tried to move telescope using sop commands but the telescope did not responded. I tried to track telescope using tcc and it was working for me. After several moves, tcc lost its connection. Restarted tcc. Initially I could not operate with rotator, but it was ok after I set eng block to spectro. I got another set of mirro numbers and they were out of nominals. Patrick and Dmitry is going to do home and relax primary. Restarted stui on telescope. Checked enclosure - ok. Did not start ventilation because of high humidity. Did not change cartridge because of rain. Night --------- 01:15Z rain started. We cannot get good mirror numbers for Prim E & F. Started M1 home-relax procedure. 03:00Z we finally got good mirror numbers. What happened: we discovered bad M1 E and F numbers. Tried to move telescope, focus, scale, and re-do. It did not help. Performed home/relax M1. Called Dan Long. Dan recommended to enable collimate, move telescope in Alt, and then home-relax again. Tried. It did not help. Dan logged in and tried to fix the problem. Dan claimed he issued home commands few times for E and F. Otherwise, they were way off. Finally, this procedure made them working. We did not have a chance to do tests because we couldn't safely replace cartridges.
