Subject: Re: [sdss3-25mlog 1363] Re: 2.5m obslog 20130831 (MJD 56536) From: Dan Long Date: Mon, 2 Sep 2013 09:09:05 -0600 Hi Garrett, I would check the preferences on STUI at the laptop to make sure it is = set to play all the sounds you are expecting. As for the semaphore, though I can't find where this traffic is = broadcast/logged (I can only see those commands in the mcp log when the = mcpMenu is involved), I'm fairly sure there is some TCC equivalent = negotiation of SEM.GIVE with "axis stop" and SEM.TAKE with "axis init" = or "track", but I am certain there is no SEM.STEAL ever issued by the = TCC. That is "track" or "axis init" will fail if someone already owns = the semaphore. =20 -Dan On Sep 1, 2013, at 6:50 PM, Garrett Ebelke wrote: > Hi Dan, >=20 > While installing cart 11 on the telescope today, after slewing to > instChange, I clicked axis stop and then went to put the pin in, and > that's when it hit me.
