Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2013 11:44:46 -0400 Subject: Apogee pressure From: Jcw6z@virginia.edu I don't think the apogee pressure at 1e-6 is cause for any concern. This link shows a variety of telemetry: www.astro.virginia.edu/apogee/telemetry.html Historically we have been at 0.8-0.9 e-7 in the summer. The APO atmospheric pressure isn't abnormally high right now relative to summer trends. We have been running a little warmer (0.1-0.2 K internal dewar temps) since the thermostat was installed in the apogee room and load from Marvels removed. Vacuum will also be affected by room temp. Unless the Marvels room was open yesterday and thus the cause of yesterdays rise, I suggest waiting until the bright run is done and then lower the thermostat set point 1 degree. Thanks, John
