Subject: Re: [sdss3-25mlog 1012] 2.5m obslog 20130102 (MJD 56295) From: Elena Malanushenko Date: Thu, 3 Jan 2013 14:13:44 -0700 This is what I concerned.=20 I do not know why mcp did not slow down after middle=20 of track, how to detect this stage of mcp, and how=20 to correct the motion. I am waiting for John, he might=20 suggest something.=20 In code, I check if alt go below of destination than apply brake. It worked last night. Message -- "go to below 6 - brake". I try to apply advanced check as Russell suggested to have one more layer of protection. I will do this as soon as possible.=20 This is work around.=20 I understand the stress of observers.=20 I am very sorry.=20 Elena On 01 /03/ 13, at 4:50 AM, kinemuchi@apo.nmsu.edu wrote: > ---- Problems in Detail ---- >=20 > At 6:45Z we sent the telescope to 6 degrees to park the enclosure.
