John P. completed some flex engineering tasks which are detailed in the Log. Notes to Day Crew: The b1 LN2 sensor needs attention. We filled b1 using the manual bypass and it is still connected. French is aware and will manually fill until they address this problem today. When we were adjusting the sp1 collimator position after the sp1mech reboot, the sp1 'C' piston did not bounce back when it hit the limit switch. Most of the time it was stuck (apparently at the limit) and would not move either way. After a few minutes it did finally move. Kaike tested 'A' and 'B' and they bounced back when encountering the limit, but there was a significant delay in 'C'. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ------- When we came in, All actors seems alive, "Test Actors" scripts reported all actors were running. However, STUI Status window did not show telescope information. guider, gcamera refused to take any data. Sop Docalibs did not work, SP1 mech did not respond. So we restarted bossICC, guider, tcc etc. For a while, we thought something went wrong in actorcore since so many things did not work. Called John P. But turned out, they are not related. We solved them one by one. 1) STUI status window does not telescope information because tcc was not connect to STUI. Restarted tcc did not help, because it was a connection problem, hub startNubs did not solve the problem because McpMenu at the scope owned the semaphore. Released the semaphore, reconnected tcc with STUI resolved the problem: STUI does not show telescope info. 2). Restarted both guider and gcamera to get guider back. 3) Sop refused take boss calibs: Restarted bossICC did not help. Reloading controlled did not help. It turned out that sp1mech did not responds. Rebooted it did not help. Re-seat a few cable get boss back. Because SP1mech was rebooted, we home SP1 collimator, and re-adjusted XMID and WAVEMID on SP1. APOGEE evening calibs were taken. 00:30Z started ventilation. Night ===== Clouds and nearby radar returns delayed opening. We eventually stopped ventilation because of light rain approaching. After sp1mech was rebooted, the collimator positions were reading '0', so we adjusted the positions back to where they were prior to the reboot by moving and re-zeroing the collimator values. Here are the BOSS collimator positions, very similar to where they were: sp1: 25668 26088 25919 sp2: 38975 39291 39788 We checked spatial and wavelength coverage to verify no tilt was introduced and the flat and arc reported good values in SoS. John P. updated some logic in actorkeys. He closed Ticket #876, worked on migrating mcpMenu to hub25m, which contains an updated interlocks menu no longer including imager interlocks. He also closed Ticket #1673, but actorkeys v1_13 isn't *technically* running (it's still trunk, but the fix is in there). We had a Critical Alert on b1 in which the 10L dewar was not feeding LN2 to the b1 camera when a primary fill was initiated. We used the manual bypass to force LN2 into b1 and this brought the temperature back to its set point. We did another manual fill about 2-2.5 hours later. The manual bypass is still attached (just not plugged in) and French is aware of the issue. 11:17Z - Still lightly raining with more radar approaching.
