Finished these tasks: Spectro shake tasks were completed, i.e., focus, Xmin adj, waveMin adj, 20 bias exposures, 15 darks (queued 5 when leave), and dithered flats with cart 17. Made progress with fiducial tables; We would like to have a new set of data for rotator. Home and relaxed the mirrors and saved nominal MIG values to log. Finished BOSS collimation test. We measure spectrum tilts on four BOSS cameras, and found that the central spectrum (the 10th fiber of the 13th fiber bundle) on b1, r1, b2, and r2 are titled by 0.03, 0.25, -0.22, and 0.16 degrees respectively. ====notes to engineers/developers=== 1. We discovered a glycol puddle on the floor below sp1. 2. Spectro dewars are low. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ---------- Afternoon: 00:30Z started ventilation. reconnected alters actor. restart guider actor. The central spectrum: the 10th one in 13th fiber bundle, has positions on CCDs: B1: on the top: 2167, 3290; in the bottom: 2166, 998 R1: on the top: 2164, 3526; in the bottom: 2152, 727 B2: on the top: 2163, 3298; in the bottom: 2172, 888 R2: on the top: 2159, 3606; in the bottom: 2151, 721 Looks like spectrum on b1. r1, b2, and r2 are tilted by 0.03, 0.25, -0.22, and 0.16 degrees, respectively. Took 20 biases: frames 145642-61. Took 10 15-min darks: frames 145663-73. 145666 is declared as bad because the telescope was moved during its integration. BOSS collimation test The test should be run with the enclosure closed. First, focus all four cameras with full hartmann, and move blue focus rings as needed (NOTE: we have been set blue focus rings with some offsets during afternoon checkout to compensate temperature changing in nights. For this test, please set blue focus rings to be within 2 degrees to their perfect focus positions. Then perform following steps.
