It is a gigabit network, so it is not speed.    If it was speed, it =
would have affected a number of things.  There must be a hardware =
problem somewhere.
Make sure that the operations is commanded from one of the workstations =
on the private network.  If you are using your laptop, it is on the =
public network and going through a firewall.  It is not intended to =
operate the telescopes from the public network with any time guarantees.
