Subject: Re: [sdss3-25mlog 927] 2.5m obslog 20121113 (MJD 56245) From: Dan Long Date: Wed, 14 Nov 2012 08:55:32 -0700 Hi John, Just saw your note. I did a quick test a little while ago. The = results show the TCC knows the correct state of the stop buttons with = less than a 1 second delay. If I had an "axis status" cued up in telrun = and hit return as soon as I released the stop button, I could catch it = still saying a button was in, but in the time it took to up-arrow and = return, the status changed to reflect the pulled stop button. =20 If there is a longer duration of incorrect status seen by sop, could = it be looking at old data? The fact that the first gotoField fails and = the second one succeeds regardless of the delay, would seem to indicate = that some parameter is a step behind. Let me know if there is some test = you would like me to try, to help sort this out. Cheers, Dan On Nov 14, 2012, at 8:30 AM, John K.
