Installed new fiduical tables.
Homed sp1, sp2 collimator, adjusted r2 focus ring so that its current
best focus is at the middle of its collimator moving range.
Adjusted spectra position and tilts on three CCDs.
flat frame (#133042) and arc frame (#133043) were taken when r2 is in
focus.
finished optical collimation.
Problems:
1. three fiducial crossings are missed in new azimuth fiducial table, 5 were
missed in rotator table.

Afternoon:

All systems and actors were checked, no problem to report.
22:00Z dismounted engineering camera, mounted cart 11 for
BOSS spectra checking.
23:00Z: started to check fiducial data, checking in, installing
fiducial tables. The fitting errors at fididx AZ 3, 31, and 27 are
very large, rotator missed serveral fiducial crossing, id=40, 41, 115, 116.
Night:

2:30Z continue to work on BOSS spectra positions, focus r2 etc.
We had several problems during the process:
1. All spectrograph shutters do not respond to several commands. Shutters
were keeping closed, did not respond to BOSS exposure, boss openShutter.
It was found that the problem was due that the mechanics were rebooted but not
acknowledged.
2. SP2 collimator motor can not be moved when attempt to home SP2 collimator.
Power cycle mechanics of Sp2 fixed the problem.
3.Sp1 collimator motors failed to move. SP1 collimator has been
homed, but moved fine. However, When Elena tried to position spectra
on CCD, motor failed to move. Craig fixed a bug in the code that took
care of the problem.
SP1, SP2 Collimator were homed.
b1, r2, b2 spectra were positioned on CCD, tilt was adjusted. Focus
ring of r2 was adjusted by +50 degree in order to make its best focus at the
middle position of its collimator rang.
a set of flat and arc were taken when r2 is in focus (frame # 133042-43).
2:30Z continue to work in fiducial tables. They are checked in (v1_96),
installed.
4:00Z Home/relax M1. Kaike had a problem during the process. He was
copying/pasting command from the procedure. Likely, copying/pasting
leads to some garbage chars that crashed the tcc session from there
home/relax is performing. The session was frozen, not respond to any command.
The frozen session was killed from another window, tcc-prim port (#9)
was log outed. But kaike still could not talked to tcc-pri. Craig, Steph
provided online help, Jon and French were called. We agreed that the
problem was due to M1 Galil was not responding. M1 Galili was rebooted,
then the home/relax process was finished.
08:10Z dismounted cart 11, mounted engineering camera. We continue to do
optical collimation from the point where we left last night. The process
was finished.
10:30Z clouds rolled in.
10:50Z enclosure on due to clouds.
12:10Z telescope was moved to 121, 90 after filling spectrographs per
Connie's request.
