Had to close from 0525Z - 0810Z for very high dust (White Sands decided to go for a tour). Observed the following: Cartridge 1, plate 4676A - APG_210+00 - MARVELS No spectra seen in fibers 11, 12 Cartridge 6, plate 4516A - APG SGR1 - MARVELS Cartridge 6, plate 4516B - APGS_N4147 - MARVELS spectra in fibers 49/50. 89/90 very faint. Cartridge 5, plate 4673A - APG_M13 - MARVELS Cartridge 3, plate 4588A - APGS_N5466 - MARVELS Spectra very faint in 49/50. Spectra missing in fibers 107/108, 117/118 Cartridge 4, plate 4674A - APGS_M107 - MARVELS ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: --------- Afternoon checkout at the telescope was without problems. All actors checked and alive and well. Diana was unable to unload cartridge 9, plate 4823 today (the web page would update with the plate/cartridge combo still visible). This caused problems getting plate 4823 to show up in the database on its new cartridge (7), since the plate was still listed as being on cartridge 9. Demitri was able to unload cartridge 9, and after Kaike renamed the plugMap file to version 02, with a scan ID of 2, we were back in business. 2354Z - ThAr lamp on. 0005Z - Cartridge 1 mounted. 00:45Z - ventilation started.
