No spectra seen in fibers 33, 34 cart 6, plate 4516A - APG_SGR1. cart 7, plate 4672B - APG_M53. No spectra for one block of fibers: 37-48. Very low S/N spectra (?): 91/92, 95/96. cart 6, plate 4516 B - APGS_N4147. No spectra seen in fiber: 89/90. Low S/N spectra: 49/50. Cart 8, plate 4680A - APG_M5PAL5. cart 5, plate 4673A- APG_M13 . cart 3, plate 4588A - APGS_N5466 missing spectra in fiber 49/50,107/108, 117/118 cart 4, plate 4674A - APGS_M107 It was a very dusty night. We accumulated 40+K dust-hours, please check mirrors. Problems: 1. Loading cartridge 9 failed. Looks like guider actor needs some change to accepted this new modified cartridge (see log for error message). 2. spectra of one block fibers were missing on cartridge 7, plate 4672B. 3.After we closed, we found that 180 L dewar on SP1 was venting from vault on pressure gauge, and was leaking some kind of oil. We swap the dewar. The half full 180 dewar was sent back to the shield. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ---------- 23:30Z BOSS dark and bias taken. 23:35Z: MARVELS calibration lamps on. 23:40Z All actors were checked and confirmed alive. PlateDB webapp shows that cartridge 9 have plate 4832, a BOSS plate, mounted on it. Physically checked confirmed that the requested MARVELS plate 4823 was actually mounted on it. We run MarvelMap script with cartrdge=9, plate=4823. 23:50Z Telescope and enclosures checked, no problem noticed. Mounted cartridge 1. Because of high dust count, at 5K. We decided to delay evening ventilation. 01:20Z started ventilation. Dust count is still high, at ~ 5k.
