Humidity started to rise later in the night. Everything combined together creating a mutual hesitation of opening. 7:47Z APOGEE morning cals started ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: --------- 23:05Z - Gcamera dark, BOSS bias and dark taken 23:45Z - Cartridge 11 mounted. Telescope checkout at the telescope was fine, except that snow is blowing into the enclosure and is blowing back onto the apron. Cartridge 3 was left on the Lindy cart inside the enclosure. AC heater is on. 00:05Z - Actors checked and OK. BOSS spectro collimation checked on cart. 11, Temp sp1=0.4 Temp sp2=-0.3 With r1 and r2 in focus: COLLIMATE: Camera b1 appears to be OUT-OF-FOCUS (|mean| > 0.15 pix) COLLIMATE: Predict blue camera ring movement of -3.2 degrees for spectro-1 COLLIMATE: Camera b2 appears to be OUT-OF-FOCUS (|mean| > 0.15 pix) COLLIMATE: Predict blue camera ring movement of 6.3 degrees for spectro-2 Spectrograph collimation should be in spec, if weather permits opening. (verified with sos doHartmann). 00:15Z - BOSS flat and arc taken. They are in spec, but r1 WAVEMID and WSIGMA are yellow in SoS.
