Poor seeing the last few hours. We observed: Cart 10, plate 4320 - DONE Cart 11, plate 4413 - DONE Cart 12, plate 4550 - DONE Cart 13, plate 5124 - DONE Cart 14, plate 5120 Cart 15, plate 4467 - DONE Cart 16, plate 4468 - DONE Cart 17, plate 4841 Cart 18, plate 4868 The scissor lift in the cartridge bay gave us problems again tonight. Since the engineering crew is not seeing this problem happen during the day, I'm going to try to describe every detail (relevant or not) that I witnessed tonight and see if that will help them tackle the problem later. I saw the lift start to misbehave slightly after midnight when it was at it's highest position (when the bottom row of cartridges were accessible), and noticed that the current temperature was 8.5 degrees C outside. When the down button was pressed and held, the power to the lift basically flickered on and off. To see if this problem was intermittent, I brought the lift all the way up and all the way down by pressing and holding the buttons, but the lift had trouble the entire time. I noticed that there was a clicking noise coming from inside of the grey power box on the west wall of the plug lab, and some of the LEDs flickered (noticeably operator #6), and numbers 7 and 8 were not lit. I operated the lift the rest of the night by using the manual controls on the other side of the lift. When we left at 12:42Z, the scissor lift began working properly again magically, but after a few cycles up and down, it returned to the way it was before. 06:25Z - APOGEE cals and scheduler were executed. ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ----------- All systems and actors were checked.
