But it never showed up in the index, even an hour later. Had a rotator oscillation, see log for details. Even though we did not open for Apogee, we took evening and morning cals. Most of the night was lost to heavy clouds and radar returns, with one brief spot of rain. We opened for a last ditch effort at the very end. The 15 degree alt stop interlock was not reading the state properly, and tcc could not move up from 6 degrees. When at 6 degrees, the state was retracted red. But the stop was physically retracted. We used the mcp to get above 15 degrees, and after that it read extended green. Then tcc was used to go the rest of the way to stow. We observed the following: Cart 14 5159 not done This is my very last night log as a 2.5 observer! It's been fun, guys! ---- Observing Log ---- Afternoon: ---------- Everything checked out fine. Cals, full/short hartmanns, and telescope. Have some heavy clouds and potential rain, though it doesn't look like it will stick around for more than an hour or two. So we are waiting to open until it clears out a little. 23:35Z Started ventilation Night: ------- 05:03Z Still watching the clouds. Every time it looks like it will clear, the build again. 05:30Z Rain sensor went off. Ran down to the telescope in light rain and shut off ventilation/closed doors 06:43Z Clouds appear to be clearing, we might be able to open soon. Big storms to the west look as though they may be breaking up. 06:50Z Started ventilation again. Clouds look like they may form orographically but we're still watching. 11:01Z encl25m : open Had a rotator oscillation going from 30 to 6.
