Subject: Re: 2.5m obslog 20100910 (MJD 55450) From: David Schlegel Date: Sat, 11 Sep 2010 11:25:36 -0700 --Apple-Mail-159-979658201 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Kaike, Since this is happening so often, could we take as a work-around that the observers look for a file appearing that says the flat-field was = taken? It looks like it would have to be one of these, where it should have the correct timestamp: ls -l /data/gcam/$MJD/flat* I don't know exactly where to dig to find out why this is failing. But = it does look like there are no 0.5-sec guider images at the pre-calib times. That probably means something at the STUI/sop level isn't asking the guider to take the images. -David On Sep 11, 2010, at 10:59 AM, kaike pan wrote: > Hi All, >=20 >>=20 >> Guider flat failed a couple of times during the night, but we = recieved no >> loud error notice that there was a problem; see cart 17 in log. >=20 > It seems that you are having a problem on guider flat.
