I observed that sop did not output a new gotoFieldStages keyword with
the unwanted stages omitted. I had been told that sop would output the
stages that were relevant to the current instrument. If and when sop
does implement this feature then SOP GUI will redisplay the gotoField
command with the unwanted stages omitted.
(I cannot comment about whether sop knew that a MARVELS catridge was
loaded. The observers probably know based on sop's behavior in taking
data.)
