That said, please pay close attention to the "axis init" before the slew. That command did fail, and that would have been the most efficient time to deal with the problem. But, but, but, are you saying that the STUI Status window was not showing any errors during the slew? The TCC was clearly reporting RotStat with an error bit set. - craig On Tue, May 11, 2010 at 3:23 PM, wrote: > Alaina may be able to better answer the stui interlock display problem, > but the rot axis was green after the slew, which indicated a clear state. > > Before I do a gotoField, I make sure that each axis is clear, I also make > sure there were no fiducial errors that were too large to correct after > the slew ends. =A0 This takes time. =A0Stui should complain to the observ= ers, > when we're trying to slew to a new field, if any axis is not clear, if an > axis aborts on the way to the field, or if we have a fiducial error too > large to correct during the slew. =A0Otherwise, we will often waste a lit= tle > time doing tcc offsets to acquire the field before realizing there's > another problem. > > H > > > >> =A0 Ah. >> =A0 The behavior after the BadStatusMask fix was that: >> =A0 =A0 - axis init fails fairly loudly. >> =A0 =A0 - slews still succeed >> >> =A0 I personally think that is the right behavior, but that STUI should >> be more aggressive about indicating that the axes are not moving. >> >> =A0- craig >> >> On Tue, May 11, 2010 at 12:40 PM, Russell Owen wrote: >>> On May 11, 2010, at 3:54 AM, Howard Brewington wrote: >>> >>>> 05:50Z Cart 14, plate 4017, BOSS.
