Marvels alarm: Error ALARM> ch-8; CCD HOUSE = 28.051 > 28.05c ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The afternoon was cloudy, but there was hope for a break later. Boss dark taken. Adjusted the spectro wavelength tilt a small amount on sp1 as part of monthly checkout (+100, -100, 0). The new mirror numbers are sp1: a = 11801 b = 12393 c = 12204 sp2 was left alone. Actor health was checked. Guider dark taken Paul ran code checks on the guider simulator. 23:50Z - Enclosure doors opened, ventilation started. Cartrdige 11 was left mounted since we dont know when we'll be able to open. Jon updated to the latest STUI on landru and minidru. Checkout at the telescope was without problems. Opening was delayed due to clouds. Night: ----- 00:30Z Sunset with clouds; we waited. 01:26Z Twilight end (12 degree) 01:55Z Twilight end (18 degree) 03:00Z Enclosure off, topped-off spectro secondary dewars, checked top/bottom balance, did a test slew, checked fiducial crossings for each axis, and started the DIMM. 03:30Z Cart 05, plate 3219, pointing=A, field=HD17156. No guide stars after gotoField; in fact, we had to fall back to the previous version of the guider software.
