We opened the last hour to partly cloudy skies and was able to finish cart 9, plate 3013. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- No problems with afternoon checkout. Spectro collimation set for ~14C. 01:43Z - Starting ventilating with doors and louvers open, fans on. Night: ------ Delayed opening due to thick clouds and nearby radar. 09:30Z - Opened enclosure to partly cloudy skies. Mounted cart 9, marvels_pre200 plate 3013 (single field). Used fk5 to find field, probably because the guide stars on goToField were drown out by clouds. Some guide stars appeared to have normal brightnesses, but others were pretty faint. We could not see the guide stars at all in fibers 10 and 11. There were large rotator offsets. 09:53Z - Precals. 10:00Z - 7 sec exposure. Seeing 1.2" 10:03Z - 12 sec exposure. Clouds moved in. 10:06Z - 12 sec exposure. 10:09Z - 12 sec exposure. Seeing 2.5" 10:12Z - 12 sec exposure. 10:15Z - 12 sec exposure. Clouds moved away. 10:18Z - 15 sec exposure. Seeing 1.2" 10:23Z - 15 sec exposure. 10:26Z - 15 sec exposure. 10:29Z - 15 sec exposure. 10:32Z - 15 sec exposure. 10:35Z - Postcals. This plate is finished. 10:40Z - Closed enclosure and stopped ventilating. 11:00Z - endNight rejoiced. Note that it failed the first time because changes were made to iop - the cloud camera images will be going into a new directory. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Time Stripe Lambda Last Flavor Comments Start End Begin End Frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7640 00:13Z 00:40Z 100 O 12.47 19.25 45 ignore ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot az el --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields alt az nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- Summary Checked (y/n): y QA Procedures Done (y/n): y UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 00:49 54210 0.0 bias ----- sequence 54211, plate 3020 ------- 00:54 54211 10.0 flat 00:56 54212 2.0 arc 00:59 54213 3.0 arc 01:02 54214 3.0 arc ----- sequence 54215, plate 3013 ------- 09:55 54215 10.0 flat 09:58 54216 2.0 arc 10:02 54217 8.0 target 10:05 54218 13.0 target 10:08 54219 13.0 target 10:11 54220 13.0 target 10:14 54221 13.0 target 10:18 54222 13.0 target 10:22 54223 16.0 target 10:25 54224 16.0 target 10:28 54225 15.0 target 10:31 54226 16.0 target 10:34 54227 16.0 target 10:38 54228 10.0 flat 10:40 54229 2.0 arc ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument Az Alt Rot Scale pos offset pos offset pos offset ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10:09Z 9 3013 198.77 0.0040 83.70 0.0042 20.27 0.0617 1.000300 ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10:09Z 9 3013 1.00030 -2963 -1537 -200 199 83.7 13.3 12 133 - 1.2 ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 00:31Z 63 42 1 68 (ENE) 1162 - Cloudy 01:03Z 62 49 1 255 (WSW) 1661 - " 01:35Z 61 48 2 241 (WSW) 1816 - " 02:07Z 60 48 0 121 (ESE) 2225 - " 02:39Z 59 48 5 146 (SE) 1853 - " 03:11Z 60 46 6 182 (S) 1701 - " 03:44Z 60 45 4 189 (S) 1748 - " 04:16Z 59 46 2 148 (SSE) 1676 - " 04:48Z 59 46 7 126 (SE) 1706 - " 05:20Z 59 47 7 124 (SE) 1736 - " 05:52Z 59 47 7 131 (SE) 1760 - " 06:24Z 59 47 8 147 (SSE) 1740 - " 06:56Z 60 44 9 151 (SSE) 1415 - " 07:29Z 59 46 7 176 (S) 1708 - " 08:01Z 59 47 8 182 (S) 1661 - " 08:33Z 58 47 9 166 (SSE) 1886 - " 09:05Z 58 49 9 170 (S) 1825 - " 09:37Z 57 47 13 144 (SE) 1743 - " 10:07Z 55 48 10 124 (SE) 1796 - 10:37Z 55 48 2 106 (ESE) 1861 - ---=== TELESCOPE STATUS ===--- 01:43Z - Began ventilation.
