We added some signal to plate 2819 (cart. 4) We finished the following MSP tests: QE with z 5 QE with z 6 Gain with r 1 Gain with i 1 Also we collected some 13K dust onto the mirrors, please check the mirrors. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- When did ntp_check, got: "crate ptai-time BAD: no response". Jon fixed it by update timetable on host2. All systems were checked, and working properly. The spectro focus was set for 8.5 C. The dust was over 25-45 K and wind speed was 25-45 mph during evening. No evening ventilation started. Night: ------ sunset: still dusty, ~19K dust We set up imager for MSP calibrations. 02:46Z started; - Run 7501 fr. 1 bias 02:49Z QE on z 5 started; frames 2 - 38 (finished 04:29Z) QE on z 6 : frames 39 - 76 (finished 06:15Z) run 7502 sanity check bias (runs good) --- Dust count stays high, ~7500, but sky is clear, wind is moderate, not much gusts. If even we could safely open the imager cover, there is no sure that we can close it safely in the morning: the forecast tells rain clouds are coming.
