It was in the shop. Some work had been done on it to add holes for a handle to make it easier to loosen. After talking with French, it had been discovered that the threads were damaged to the point where they probably couldn't be fixed. At this point it had slipped through the cracks and no further work has been done. Apologies for that. Bob and French are now fabricating a copy of the ring from aluminum. This piece will be a test fit for thread depth. Once this is known a final brass version will be made. Other: ====== Bob and Corey CO2 cleaned the optics, and also cleaned fiducials. Yesterday, Bob made a platform for the belt sander to make it easier to work with. Norm took down an example of the enclosure power rail shoe we use to compare with some available in Alamogordo. It turns out they are not the same. The company is going to locate the type of shoe we use. I am working on the fourth quarter time tracking numbers. Wendell is working on the board layout for the galil power supply spares. Wendell dived into the Mac which has the Vellum drawings to see why it has stopped booting. It looks like the power supply. Fritz is going to get a spare G4 desktop and put the hard-drive from the Vellum Mac in it, so Corey can continue his ongoing task of drawing conversion to Solidworks. Cheers, Dan
