When we opened the sky was clear and photometric most of the night, but we lost the last hour of the night to clouds. Finished Cartridge 6, plate 2595, chunk153 with 1X15-, 1X20-, and 1X15-minute exposures. Finished Cartridge 8, plate 2596, chunk153 with 2X15- and 1X20-minute exposures. Finished Cartridge 5, plate 2162, chunk112 with 1X25-minute exposure. Got good signal on Cartridge 3, plate 1820, chunk94. Misc. Watcher errors in the Problems section. We tried to send out the PT log (~11:00Z; and tried a second time just for verification purposes) and still have not received it as of 11:48Z. We also have sent out the plugging email and have not received that yet. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: --------- The telescope has been checked and prepared for observations. All systems are functioning properly. The collimation is set for 5.5C using median mechSend temperature. We did not begin ventillating on time because of high dust counts (1.0um counts up to 5k), clouds, strong radar returns and high winds. Night: ----- 01:20Z - Began ventillation. Doors and louvers opened, fans on. 04:47Z - Enclosure off. Opened to clear skies. 05:09Z - Cartridge 6, plate 2595, chunk153. Guide stars found on the gotoField. Pre-Calib. 1X15-minute exposure; 1X20-minute exposure; 1X15-minute exposure. Seeing: 1.6" - 1.8". SoS reccommended post-calibs, but it was too late.
