I checked and tried re-seating the ops_cart locking pin several times; however, the situation remained unchanged. So, I called Wendell. He suggested that I apply a very small amount of cleaner (WD-40) to the plunger's shaft of the locking-pin switch. While exercising the plunger with my thumb, beyond lubrication, I noticed that a small red light on the locking-pin switch was illuminate when the proper contact was made by the plunger's position. Unfortunately, the ops_cart, when pinned inside the dog house, could not close the switch or activate the light. I also noticed that the switch's plunger was pressed into place by a 1/4" bolt that attaches to the bottom of the cart. So, I loosened this bolt's locking nut, extended the bolt by about an 1/8", and re-tighten the locking nut. Now, with the ops_cart inside the dog house and the cart's locking pin in place, the small red light is activate and the Alt axis can be cleared. I've communicated my findings to Wendell, and he will check my work tomorrow. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.
