As such, I believe that the fix for PR6846 was a success. When we spoke last night, you mentioned a concern that astro files showed some checksum errors. I believe that the ones that you saw were associated with the initial frame from each DA board. These files just have header information (no FITS data) and do not have any checksum headers by design. This confusion was my fault in that I should have listed a better validation command in my shake request. The following command will run the checksum analyzer on each of the astro gang files, filter out those with valid checksums (0xffffffff), and and filter out those that have no checksum headers: ls -1 *.fit | xargs -n 1 /home/products/.biery/fitsChecksum | grep -v '0xffffffff' | grep -v 'characters = 8640' If you have any questions or need more information, please let me know. Thanks for your help with this, Kurt hjbrew@apo.nmsu.edu wrote: > APACHE POINT OBSERVATORY SDSS 2.5M > > OBSERVING LOG > Monday October 2, 2006 > > (MJD 54011) > > ---=== OBSERVING TEAM ===--- > > Swing: Elena Malanushenko > Night: Kaike Pan, Howard Brewington > > ---=== OBSERVING PLAN ===--- > > Shakeup and Science! > > ---=== OBSERVING SUMMARY ===--- > > We did not make IOP current because we could not close PR 6846. > > We checked but could not close PR 6846; Kurt is working on this one.
