I checked what was going on at that time and found the slew. The sequence I saw was, starting about 2 minutes before that slew: - The az and alt axes had status code 0x00001800 meaning: "amplifier not OK" and "out of closed loop" - A set inst=spectro was performed twice (the first failed due to a camera communications error, the second succeeded). - The slew was performed (track 228.3353,36.02267 fk5=2000 /rotangle=0 /rottype=obj) but az and alt still had status 0x00001800 so az and alt never moved. It looks to me as if the axis needed to be initialized but were not. Is this possible? I would have expected your displays would make that unlikely. -- Russell P.S. I assume most of you have seen TUI on the 3.5m. Do you have any interest in having the status window available for the 2.5m? If so, I can fairly give you a modified and stripped down version of TUI.
