It is evident that Mike's SOP session sent a command, without him commanding it to, to move sp1's actuator C by 7640 steps (seven 1000 step moves and one 640 step move). There is no corresponding "mechMove" or "mechPiston" recorded from his session in the log. FYI, the time stamp for this oddity is "2004-11-17 00:44:40Z". Dan, Pete, Mike, Jurek and Jon talked about possible causes. They thought it was perhaps due to the TCL "hit return on a blank line" bug that has bitten in the past. As an aside, there was an occurance prior to this of the specMech processor returning a transient zero position for the C actuator, but it occured only once in passing and did not contribute to these collimation problems.
