I saw that; Reading your notes is part and parcel of understanding "exotic exposure times"... of understanding what was going on that night. > If I am incorrect, and I should deal with bad exposures > in three different places, then I will do so grumblingly. The production system needs the sdHdrFix files. If I understand this right, two places are required (the plate database and the sdHdrFix creation). The third, the observing report log, is best effort. saves work for me (and makes the obs-log more self contained), but makes more work for you; your call. Anyway its been months since I've had to make a sdHdrFix for new data, so I'm reasonably happy... jim > Steph > > > Good, this exposure is dealt with correctly in processing. > > > > In the best of all possible worlds, this would have been noted > > bad in the log as well, and I wouldn't have needed to double > > check the sdHdrFix files. > > > > Cheers, > > jim > > > > On Sun, 2003-03-23 at 07:43, Stephanie Snedden wrote: > > > 07:52Z Completed switch to spectroscopy. > > > Cartridge 8, plate 1020.
