I see persistent tracking errors on all three axes - since this is taken from the MEI it is a measure of mechanical/servo performance and not that of whether or not the telescope is pointing correctly - thus likely not related to the SOP problems. The TPM alarms when the 5 sample (0.25 second) mean of the servo error exceeds 7 and 10 encoder counts (0.1 and 0.14 arcsec) when it believes the telescope is tracking (velocity < 45 arcsec/sec). Examination of the Altitude errors shows momentary (< 1 second) excursions of upto 0.6 arcsec. I will cut version tpm_v2_27_0 today with the interval over which the mean is computed extended to 1 second. - Peregrine -- Peregrine M.
