New versions of IOP/SOP, tccMon and MOP were declared current. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout: ------------------- Spectrographs are in focus. Both Craig and Scot wrote scripts for shutting down sdsshost: /usr/etc/fshuttdown, or /etc/fshutdown, so we can avoid future typos while rebooting it (perhaps!). Night: ------ Clouds all night, so we never opened (and of course the clouds started to clear about 30 minutes before morning twilight, too late for useful work!). However, we were able to complete all shake-up software tests successfully: IOP PR 5700: checkFlat command does not recognize the dataDir directory - This now works as it should. IOP PR 5612 - logTool no longer knows about which instrument is on telescope - The "Offsets" and "Focus" buttons now record the instrument as they are supposed to do (at least for spectro cartridges - we didn't mount the imager or engineering camera, but trust those work similarly. SOPGUI changes - Howard put this through its paces and it all seems to work ok. We discovered that issuing a doNextScience with the telescope stowed in the enclosure WILL work, even though it complains the flat-field screens did not open (and they don't - the interlocks prevent it). tccMon fix to sidereal date - This now works when there's an embedded zero in the day number (it was day number 307 when we tested it). MOP changes: see PT log for details. We are declaring the following to be current versions: IOP v3_121_0 MOP m2_25_0 tccMon v2_3 (Do the IOP changes need to be built into the SEGUE branch, too?) endNight run onto the cloudy-night tapes. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Time Stripe Lambda Last Flavor Comments Start End Begin End Frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4235 23:18Z 23:33Z 100 O 101.49 105.36 40 ignore ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot az el --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields alt az nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- Summary Checked (y/n): y QA Procedures Done (y/n): n UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 ----- sequence 23190, plate -9999 ------- 23:19 23190 0.0 bias 23:24 23191 0.0 bias ----- sequence 23192, plate 1107 ------- 23:50 23192 0.0 bias 23:53 23193 10.0 flat 23:56 23194 2.0 arc 23:59 23195 2.1 arc 00:02 23196 2.1 arc ----- sequence 23197, plate 1107 ------- 02:32 23197 26.8 target IGNORE: tests in enclosure 03:00 23198 30.1 target " 03:06 23199 25.6 target " ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument Az Alt Rot Scale pos offset pos offset pos offset ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:44Z 2 1107 121.00 0.0000 30.27 0.0000 0.00 0.0000 1.000000 ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== DATA TAPE SUMMARY ===--- Goes: None.
