The details can be found in the Problems section. The slip trip light for alt#1 was out when checked before opening around 0200Z. This may have been caused by our cleaning of the drive sufaces and encoder wheel just before this was checked. Is there supposed to be some sort of log book near/around the slip detection box? If so, where is it, please? We opened at sunset but closed 30 minutes later due to threatening clouds and lightening. The clouds cleared but the humidity was high and we remained closed until 0500Z. Plate 915 (cartridge 7): Guide stars on the gotoField after the previous night's offsets were cleared. Clouds followed almost immediately and we closed again around 0530Z. Can you say "sucker hole?" The clouds were rapidly moving and changing. They began to thin somewhat shortly before 0700Z but then the humidity rose and we remained closed. The humidity began to drop around 0915Z but it remained highly variable and we never reopened. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Time Stripe Lambda Last Flavor Comments Start End Begin End Frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot az el --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 ----- sequence 15641, plate -9999 ------- 00:42 15641 0.0 bias 02:06 15642 0.0 bias ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument Az Alt Rot Scale pos offset pos offset pos offset ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== DATA TAPE SUMMARY ===--- Goes: None Stays: None ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 23:45Z 66 46 20 212 (SSW) 1300 - mcl 00:17Z 63 47 3 226 (SW) 2211 - mcl 00:49Z 62 46 12 125 (SE) 2225 - mcl 01:21Z 62 47 16 133 (SE) 1641 - pcl 01:54Z 61 46 17 139 (SE) 1277 - pcl 02:26Z 59 47 16 111 (ESE) 1125 - mcl 02:56Z 57 48 14 91 (E) 678 - pcl 03:26Z 55 48 16 88 (E) 552 - clear 03:56Z 54 48 15 111 (ESE) 683 - clear 04:27Z 54 48 16 115 (ESE) 901 - pcl 04:57Z 56 48 19 116 (ESE) 1237 - pcl 05:27Z 55 48 18 111 (ESE) 1065 - mcl 05:57Z 56 48 26 126 (SE) 2004 - mcl 06:27Z 55 48 24 147 (SSE) 1340 - pcl 06:58Z 55 48 16 137 (SE) 1287 - pcl 07:28Z 54 50 18 126 (SE) 1209 - mcl 07:58Z 53 51 12 153 (SSE) 1216 - clear 08:28Z 53 50 8 150 (SSE) 1268 - clear 08:58Z 53 45 7 191 (S) 1397 - clear 09:29Z 56 42 10 217 (SW) 1270 - clear ---=== TELESCOPE STATUS ===--- 01:30 Doors open, fans on 02:00 Enclosure off 02:30 Enclosure on, doors closed, fans off. 05:00 Doors open, fans on, enclosure off. 05:30 Enclosure on, doors closed, fans off. I ran goSpecFocus and collimate anyway. goSpecFocus said that we have r1, r2, b2 out of focus. collimate said we have all cameras out of focus. Of course, the error bars are larger than the tolerance, and given that only WSIGMA is in yellow, I almost decided not to bother focusing. But since I still had couple hours before sunset, I went ahead and tweaked the spectrographs. goSpecFocus output before refocus: Calculating pixel shift maps now...
