PR2561 MJD in sdR headers incorrect and/or inconsistent w/directory name --> assigned. I did not find the bias frame we took at the end of last night show up in /data/spectro/52414 or /data/lostSpectroFrames. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- I promise to finish off testing PR2561 before I went home today. So here is what I did. PR2561 MJD in sdR headers in correct and/or inconsistent w/directory names The result of the second half of the shakeTest for this PR. I hope we did what we were expected for the PR. What we did last night can be found in last night's log. In summary, o On 52414, we ran endNight and waited until it finished successfully. o killed a teamster o took a bias frame o killed the teamster before the spectro frame read out. (We caught the teamster activity in the murmurlog, so we killed that one before the frame readout. Maybe we killed the imager teamster when we killed a teamster before we took the bias frame.) o We looked for the bias frame 15271 which we just took. We could not find it anywhere in any of the /data/spectro/MJD directories or in /data/lostSpectroFrames. o To ensure there is no teamster hiding and start doing its job, we did the "kill all iop.bin". o We restarted the servers because "kill all" command killed them. o It is now MJD 52415. I did "startMurmur -grep TMS" to see if any teamster activity is around. I see no activity. o I restarted a teamster in sop. sp1> teamster 60 The old teamster, PID 257744, appears to have died; restarting 510501 and immidiately, Murmurlog says, 2002-05-20 22:21:53Z sdsshost TMS 510501 TEXTONLY transfering gangs to unix which implies that we have a imager teamster and not spectro teamster.... (spectro teamster says "transfering frames to unix" ). Hmm. So the above "teamster" command only starts an imager teamster and not spectro teamster. o I still see no trace of frame 15271, the bias frame taken last night. o I decided to try to take another bias frame. This might restart the spectro teamster and put the frame 15271 where it ought to. o I took two bias frames, 15272 and 15273, but both did not show up in /data/spectro/52415. The bias from last niight has not shown up yet either. And I see no sign of spectro teamster activities in the murmurlog. I sill send this PR back to assigned. I think the expected outcome was to see 15271 in /data/spectro/52414 or /data/lostSpectroFrames. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Time Stripe Lambda Last Flavor Comments Start End Begin End Frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot az el --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument Az Alt Rot Scale pos offset pos offset pos offset ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== DATA TAPE SUMMARY ===--- Goes: JL Stays: JL ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 21:11Z 62 27 11 224 (SW) 681 - 21:43Z 59 27 12 269 (W) 539 - 22:15Z 59 24 13 268 (W) 433 - ---=== TELESCOPE STATUS ===--- ---=== SOFTWARE USED ===--- IOP/SOP: v3_79_1 Watcher: v2_17_0 MCP: v5_11_3 TPM: v2_10_0 AstroDa: v14_47 TCC: 2.6.2 sdssProcedures: 1_44 ---=== MIRROR NUMBERS ===--- ---=== PROBLEMS IN DETAIL ===---
