Most of the night clouds + bright moon, but finaly we got ONE useful exposures on one plate (cart 1 plt 805) after moon set. That's all. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout ok. While starting SOP session we've got memory fault on host (see the problem section), then we had to logout spectrographs ports - (Steph said - its' just usual :>>> ). 01:10Z Started with cart 6 plt 1028 mounted. Stars on slew. But we are VERY close to the moon. (Sky brightness 1.9 + clouds). S/N was soo bad, that we aborded the second exposure and marked clouds. Then we moved to another cartridge. 02:27Z Cart 4 plt 1036 mounted. Stars on slew. But S/N again in this clouds and moon below 2. The moon is killing us.... 04:20Z Cart 3 plt 1119 mounted. Stars on slew. The telescope is pointing now little bit away from the moon, but clouds are thicker - well we'll see. We didn't get any useful S/N... 09:25Z Swapiing to cart 1 plt 805. Stars found with fk5 (but we are not sure if we didn't see stars because of clouds). And finaly we got a first useful exposure this night :) .... and the last one :((( endNight - failed, we found out, that it failed to write the focus_52562 file, which had wrong permissions (set to JB, he probably was working on that file and forgot to change permissions back).
