The imager reports errors to the server (which in turn sends the information to you watcher) if the value it measures for any voltage is different from the value to which the imager last tried to set it. The imager knows that it last set the VDDs to their low values (since it always does so at startup), so it did not complain that they were there. The problem we want to catch is not that the VDDs are low, but that the VDDs are low when trying to take data (because the CCDs don't produce any signal that way). Thus, the catch is in beginData, actuallly all the way down in cameraStart. --Connie
