SYNOPSIS FOR NIGHT: =================== Nada. GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details): ================================================== Cloudy with nearby thunderstorms at sunset. It started to clear after 23:15, but at that time a combination of climbing dust, humidity and an approaching line of nasty thunderstorms from the north kept us closed. Clouds came back as well at about 02:00. No problems noted during afternoon checkout, except for mixed up cables to the spectrograph monitors. Currently, spectro 1 cameras display on the spectro 2 monitor & vice versa. The cables to the monitors will be switched by Jon B. On the plus side, the spectrograph cameras behaved all night long.
