Jurek & Scot spent the afternoon and evening going over & debugging the imager calibration procedure. Progress was made. During the afternoon, Larry & Jon B. worked on the azimuth encoder read-head. They installed a cam-follower. Subsequently, they had to spend some time shimming/adjusting the read-head to get it so it would read most of the fiducials. We can now read all of the az fiducials except the 120 degree one. We did three azimuth sweeps. All fiducials except the 120 degree one were read at every sweep. It looks like we may see up to a 6 arcsec shift in azimuth over the range we usually work. On average, it should be less than that, but appears to depend on azimuth. We did not update the fiducial tables as the pointing model depends on the old ones. We just need to be aware that we may need an az offset. Eric did some IOP entomology.
