Imaging if conditions allow. Otherwise spectroscopy. ---=== OBSERVING SUMMARY ===--- Clouds, high humidity, snow, rain and fog. Acquired the 25 spectro biases and the guider darks as requested. Never opened. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- During the afternoon checkout, we saw a strange message after issuing a goDrift -bias command. The command was reissued and appeared to work. See the problems section for details. We swapped out the neon bulb in bank #2 (S.E. box) as it was flickering off and on. Inspection of the bulb showed it to be darkly discolored. The 1st replacement bulb (not new) did not light. We turned on the 2nd replacement bulb (also not new) before the holder was back in the housing to test it. The lamp flashed brightly and then would not light. Did we do something wrong? The 3rd replacement bulb (new) worked fine. The 25 spectro biases and the guider darks were acquired as per instructions. The files can be found in /data/spectro/schlegel for anyone interested. We never opened due to high humidty. We also had clouds most of the night and rain, snow and fog at various times throughout. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Stripe Flavor Lambda Last Begin End Frame Comments ------------------------------------------------------------------ 2718 100 O ignore 123.19 138.38 115 ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 ----- sequence 11769, plate -9999 ------- 23:31 11769 0.0 bias ----- sequence 11770, plate 753 ------- 03:25 11770 0.0 bias 03:27 11771 0.0 bias 03:29 11772 0.0 bias 03:36 11773 0.0 bias 03:38 11774 0.0 bias 03:39 11775 0.0 bias 03:41 11776 0.0 bias 03:43 11777 0.0 bias 03:45 11778 0.0 bias 03:47 11779 0.0 bias 03:49 11780 0.0 bias 03:51 11781 0.0 bias 03:53 11782 0.0 bias 03:55 11783 0.0 bias 03:57 11784 0.0 bias 03:59 11785 0.0 bias 04:01 11786 0.0 bias 04:03 11787 0.0 bias 04:05 11788 0.0 bias 04:07 11789 0.0 bias 04:09 11790 0.0 bias 04:11 11791 0.0 bias 04:13 11792 0.0 bias 04:15 11793 0.0 bias 04:17 11794 0.0 bias ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument getclock Az Alt Rot Scale ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== DATA TAPE SUMMARY ===--- Goes: JL4657 Stays: JL4658 ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 16:04 33 31 12 46 (NE) 29 - 16:36 33 31 11 47 (NE) 32 - 17:08 33 31 11 48 (NE) 51 - 17:41 33 31 13 26 (NNE) 68 - 18:13 33 32 5 353 (NNW) 238 - 18:45 33 32 0 346 (NNW) 419 - 19:17 33 33 0 223 (SW) 617 - 19:49 33 33 1 272 (W) 943 - 20:22 32 32 6 253 (WSW) 367 - 20:54 32 32 0 262 (W) 1625 - 21:25 33 32 8 254 (WSW) 1098 - 21:57 32 32 9 262 (W) 345 - 22:30 31 31 6 212 (SSW) 195 - 23:02 31 31 2 189 (S) 36 - 23:34 31 31 0 198 (SSW) 26 - 00:06 31 31 0 287 (WNW) 149 - 00:38 31 31 0 331 (NNW) 33 - 01:11 31 31 0 214 (SW) 260 - 01:43 31 31 8 58 (ENE) 57 - 02:15 31 31 12 78 (ENE) 1 - 02:47 31 30 14 63 (ENE) 0 - 03:20 30 30 13 68 (ENE) 1 - 03:53 30 29 12 80 (E) 0 - 04:25 30 29 9 80 (E) 0 - 04:57 30 29 13 73 (ENE) 5 - High humidity all night.
