Spectroscopy after that. Three plates declared done: 704, 709 and 546. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout went without problems. High and mid-level clouds kept us closed for more than half the night. The clouds cleared at 02:00 and we opened to partly cloudy skies at that time. Seeing was not good enough for imaging, and a few clouds persisted on the horizon so we went with spectroscopy. We did not see a repeat of last night's azimuth encoder problem. Perhaps it really was due to mushed moths on the azimuth drive surface. The day crew reported that it looked like moths had been having a party on the az drive. Three plates were declared done: 704, 709 and 546. Since we now have no end-of-night plates, we asked to have plate 546 left on cartridge 7 for reobservation. endNight rejoiced. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Stripe Flavor Lambda Last Begin End Frame Comments ------------------------------------------------------------------ 2673 100 O ignore 92.19 105.04 62 p.m. checkout ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot --------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 ----- sequence 11444, plate -9999 ------- 23:24 11444 0.0 bias ----- sequence 11445, plate 704 ------- 27.5 14.8 26.8 20.5 08:11 11445 10.0 flat 08:13 11446 2.0 arc 08:51 11447 902.0 target 09:03 11448 503.0 target ----- sequence 11449, plate 709 ------- 15.1 13.2 18.1 14.8 09:22 11449 10.0 flat 09:24 11450 2.0 arc 09:46 11451 900.0 target 10:14 11452 1503.0 target 10:42 11453 1502.0 target 11:14 11454 1503.0 target 11:18 11455 10.0 flat 11:20 11456 2.0 arc ----- sequence 11457, plate 546 ------- 24.5 24.1 24.2 16.3 11:31 11457 10.0 flat 11:33 11458 2.0 arc 12:10 11459 1501.0 target ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument getclock Az Alt Rot Scale ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:45 6 704 1003826715 0.002214 0.002573 0.000000 0.999950 03:30 9 709 1003829416 0.000460 -0.001203 0.000000 0.999950 04:09 9 709 1003831763 0.000460 -0.001203 0.000000 0.999950 05:45 7 546 1003837503 -0.001951 -0.000525 -0.037533 1.000240 ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== DATA TAPE SUMMARY ===--- Goes: JL4569 Stays: JL4570 ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:43 6 ,704 0.99995 493 1584 0 -35 51.7 6.7 12 326 1.8 03:30 9, 709 0.99995 493 1568 -20 -38 50.6 6.3 5 24 2.1 04:08 9 709 0.99995 493 1507 -100 -50 44.9 5.9 12 300 2.2 04:50 9 709 1.00001 -99 1093 -50 -60 37.8 5.8 19 317 2.3 05:43 7 546 1.00024 -2369 -882 -50 126 70.8 5.6 18 297 1.9 05:53 7 546 1.00024 -2369 -909 -75 128 72.5 5.4 16 290 1.7 ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 17:18 54 26 16 262 (W) 401 - mcl 17:50 52 27 15 274 (W) 426 - mcl 18:23 51 26 16 268 (W) 404 - mcl 18:55 48 26 10 299 (WNW) 559 - mcl 19:27 48 26 10 326 (NW) 480 - mcl 19:59 49 25 7 281 (W) 478 - mcl 20:32 48 25 9 319 (NW) 513 - mcl 21:04 47 26 6 322 (NW) 528 - mcl 21:36 47 27 6 277 (W) 503 - mcl 22:08 47 28 14 321 (NW) 333 - mcl 22:42 47 29 1 357 (NNW) 384 - mcl 23:13 46 30 10 344 (NNW) 293 - mcl 23:43 46 30 17 307 (NW) 262 - mcl 00:13 45 30 16 334 (NNW) 266 - mcl 00:44 45 30 11 317 (NW) 304 - mcl 01:16 45 30 13 308 (NW) 288 - mcl 01:49 45 30 12 327 (NNW) 235 - pcl 02:22 44 30 16 296 (WNW) 249 - pcl 02:52 43 30 15 300 (WNW) 263 - clear 03:22 43 30 12 308 (NW) 258 - clear 03:55 43 30 16 317 (NW) 270 - clear 04:27 42 30 14 306 (NW) 266 - clear 04:59 42 30 12 303 (WNW) 239 - clear 05:32 42 30 11 299 (WNW) 267 - clear 06:02 41 30 18 310 (NW) 278 - clear 06:32 41 30 15 331 (NNW) 295 - clear ---=== TELESCOPE STATUS ===--- 18:15: Doors opened, fans on. 02:00 Opened enclosure 06:20: Telescope stowed in enclosure at 30 deg alt with cartridge 7 mounted.
