WEATHER SYNOPSIS (see below for hourly data):

Fog, snow in the afternoon. Clearing around sunset. But the
powdery snow was being blown around. The humidity shot up to
closing condition again around  3am.
GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details):
==================================================
Just as we were setting up software, we found out that the password
for TCC has expired.... ! Without warning! Craig has just left
when we found this out, so we called him and we changed the password.
The new passwd is on the board.
Around 9pm, we opened for few minutes. We thought the wind was calm
enough to open -- we stood on east and west side to check on
the snow flakes in the air and decided we were safe. But once we opened
we saw snow flakes in the air, so we closed immediately.
NHK crew came to take some photos of the night sky. They went back to the
Lodge around 1:30am.
