TELESCOPE STATUS: ================= Stowed at 30 deg alt with cart 7. INTERLOCKS: =========== None bypassed SOFTWARE USED: ============== IOP/SOP: v3_17_5_3 Watcher: v2_8_3 MCP: v4_3_2b TPM: v2_0_0 AstroDa: 14_34 TCC: 2.4.0b2 WEATHER SYNOPSIS (see below for hourly data): ============================================= Started out with rain. Improved over night, but never enough to open the telescope. GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details): ================================================== Afternoon: iop was cut with the new astroDA. The new version (iop v3_17_5_3) is declared current. Last night's comment on mirror values being off was operator's error. I didn't know I needed to have both set inst and track command before the numbers are checked. Night: With the amplifiers and wind baffle off line and stop button in, we sent a tracking command in TCC and took biases to see if the GANG headers were entered correctly. And they had correct RA and DEC. We closed the PR. We almost opened around 1am, but the clouds came over us.... The lower enclosure temp was about 73@0:30am. Around 3:45am, we noticed that the watcher went back and forth between "NO CONNECTION" and "CAMERA" few times. I don't know what caused this.... We decided to feed the spectro dewars and go to bed around 4am. The lower enclosure temp was about 68@5am. Thank you for Scott and Steve who came to help me out observing this dark run.
