If the seeing is good, do focal plane mapping and imaging. Otherwise, do spectroscopy. French and I will work on the cart2 guider focus tomorrow afternoon. SYNOPSIS FOR NIGHT: =================== Cloud until midnight, then dust until 1:30 pm. Did spectroscopy for the foolowing cartridge: Cart 9 / plate 351 TELESCOPE STATUS: ================= AZ stow, ALT=30, Cart 2 on when closed up for night. DIMM: ----- No DIMM data tonight. Clouds and dust until 1:30 am. Seeing 1.5-2.5" GENERAL COMMENTS (see Problems below for details): ================================================== Before Dark: Connie continues her work. The tpm crated a log file /mcptpm/tpm-51695.log instead of /mcptpm/51695/tpm-51695.log. The servers were alive when I came in to work around noon. We still see missing pixels in the spectro biases taken. I have not been able to get any frame without missing pixels this afternoon. :( After Dark: We could not open due to clouds until 11:30pm. But upon opening and putting cart 2 on, we had to close due to high dust. Reopened at 1:30 and on the sky by 2:10 am. We finished cartridge 2, plate 351. offsets were .0064,.0043, focus -150.
