Imaging as priority, then spectroscopy. OBSERVING SUMMARY ================= Never opened due to overcast sky, high humidity and precipitation in the county seen on El Paso radar. OBSERVERS' LOG ============== The cloudy weather that arrived last night continued to leave us under overcast skies. At twilight, the Moon was just visible through the clouds, but no stars, after which it deteriorated. The instruments were checked and found to be alive and well. We spent the night working on documentation and other pending tasks until 03:20, by when it was obvious that the clouds would not clear tonight, we're at a recorded 102.9% humidity and there's a thin layer of ice on metal surfaces, so we called it a night. Forecast for tomorrow night is better. No serious problems to report. This happened again this evening about 8pm (I think). Presumed to be a readout glitch. TELESCOPE AND ENCLOSURE STATUS ============================== End of night: Telescope stowed at 30 deg alt with cartridge 2/plate 416 mounted. Counterweights at 280.
